Ghana’s second lady Samira Bawumia has given it all to God for being the sole engineer behind her sudden rise in society.
In an interview with Asempa fm’s political talk show host Osei Bonsu on Monday March 9th 2020 as monitored by Myafricatoday.net, Mrs Bawumia said she could have never risen to be Ghana’s second lady without the grace of the almighty.
She used the opportunity to thank her parents for taking her to school. “OB (in reference to the programme host), i wouldn’t be second lady but for the grace of God.
What that means is that whatever God has said about you will surely come to pass,” she added. Hajia Samira Bawumia is a female icon in Ghana for being wife of Ghana’s second gentleman at her relatively younger age 40, three years after her husband assumed his VEEP office.
She has received various awards both local and internationally for her contributions towards worthy causes in society, particularly that of women and young girls.
