The Electoral Commission of Ghana has sacked three of its temporal staff for stealing eight forms IA from the District office of the Commission at Sagnarigu in the Northern region of Ghana.
It could be recalled that a polling agent for one of the political parties was arrested for possessing form IA.
But in a statement, the Electoral Commission indicated that steps are been taken to deal with the polling agent whose name was given as Alhassan Abdulai Mohammed.
It, however, added further that it is taking the needed steps to also sack three of their temporal staff in whose care the various kits were left until eight got missing.
The Electoral Commission assured the general public that it will not shield its staff found culpable for any misconduct during the registration process and therefore encouraged the general public to adhere to the regulations governing the registration process.
