794 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service. The new COVID-19 cases shoot the number of confirmed COVID-19cases to 31, 851.
Out of the number above, 28, 438 persons have recovered from the disease and have been discharged. The country’s active cases are now 3,252 while the death toll still stands at 161.
Greater Accra region leads as COVID-19 hot belt with 16, 426 infections.
According to the Ghana Health Service, 25 persons are in a critical condition while 8 patients are in severe conditions
Four patients are said to be on ventilators.
